Solar Eclipse Camping at The John Hay Center

Come and view the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse amidst Washington County history! Primitive and mobile camping will be available on The John Hay Center grounds from April 5th to April 8th. Campsites are 20' x 20' with electric and water access dependent on location. Restrooms are available, and shuttles to the YMCA for showers are to be expected. Primitive tent camping from April 5th to April 8th is $120.00 for the whole weekend. Mobile camping from April 5th to April 8th is $225.00 for the whole weekend. A food truck will be available on-site, and local restaurants are within walking distance. A S'mores and Weenie Roast will be happening the evening of April 7th for those camping, with a purchasable kit for $5.00. Book ahead by calling at (812) 883-6495 or emailing at info@johnhaycenter.org. Payment upfront is preferred, and cancellation is accepted up to two weeks in advance, anytime after is non-refundable.
